Here we are opening gifts at Nonnie's house!

Laila's first Christmas

Laila had a great first Christmas. I woke her up bright and early so Daddy could watch her open a gift on the webcam (we sure did miss having Daddy here in person). Who knew that she would open it up HERSELF! She had a blast all day, spending time with family and opening gifts. She bought Mommy the most thoughtful gift...a book called I I Love My Mommy. She got her first, second, and third dolls! She got two wonderful First Christmas ornaments that we cannot wait to hang on next year's tree. She got some great toys and games that we will open up and use tomorrow. Overall, we had a great day.

Laila eats for the first time

Laila and I had a great time Friday night. She ate for the first time (oatmeal with bananas)! She swallowed about half of it the first night, but got a lot more down Saturday night. She even wanted to hold the spoon on her own (miss independent)!

Laila sits up

She has finally found out how to sit up (well at least she can for approximately 20 seconds).

Christmas photos

We had such a blast taking our Christmas photos (thanks Erika). It took a lot of patience to get Buddy and Laila to sit still and smile. Sadly, our family photo is not complete this year because Myles is not in it. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
